Abstract：Traditional knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine has great economic and social value, and it is a treasure of the Chinese nation. Its most important feature is inheritance and continuity. At present, the protection of traditional knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine in my country mostly uses the modern intellectual property protection system, and the protection period is short, which is contrary to the inheritance and continuity of traditional Chinese medicine, and cannot achieve the purpose of better protection of traditional knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine. At present, the protection of traditional knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine is facing many difficulties and challenges, and the lack of inheritance and protection has led to the imminent loss of many traditional knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine. Many problems with traditional knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine need to be solved urgently. Therefore, formulating a protection system that conforms to the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine and extending the protection period are of great significance for protecting traditional knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and promoting the achievement of the goal of a healthy China.
