Effect of psychological cognitive behavior nursing patterns on psychological status of patients with prostatic hyperplasia undergoing surgery

Abstract:Objective To discuss the effect of psychological cognitive behavior nursing patterns on psychological status of patients with prostatic hyperplasia undergoing surgery. Methods From January 2020 to August 2021, 90 prostatic hyperplasia patients treated in Nanjing Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital, Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine were selected as research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group (45 cases) and study group (45 cases). The control group was served with routine nursing interventions, the study group was served with psychological cognitive behavioral nursing on the basis of control group. Intervention was continued in both groups until discharge. Behavior compliance and psychological status before and after intervention were compared between two groups. Results The behavior compliance of study group was better than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After intervention, the self-rating anxiety scale and self-rating depression scale scores of two groups were lower than those before intervention, and study group was lower than control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The psychological cognitive behavior nursing patterns can eliminate the patients’ bad mood and play an important role in postoperative recovery.
