Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention based on Peplo interpersonal relationship theory on liver function, psychological state, and quality of life of patients with autoimmune hepatitis. Methods A total of 200 patients with autoimmune hepatitis admitted to the Department of Gastroenterology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Military Medical University from January 2019 to January 2021 were selected and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 100 cases in each. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, while the observation group was given nursing intervention based on Peplo interpersonal relationship theory. The liver function, psychological state, and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results After the intervention, the alanine aminotransferase and total bilirubin in the two groups were lower than before the intervention, while those of the observation group were lower than those of the control group; the albumin was higher than before the intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After the intervention, the anxiety and depression self-rating scale scores in the two groups were lower than those before the intervention, while those of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After the intervention, the physical, physiological, psychological, and social function scores of the two groups were higher than those before the intervention, while those of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Nursing intervention based on Peplo interpersonal relationship theory can help improve liver function in patients with autoimmune hepatitis, and improve their mental health and quality of life.
