Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of ear tip blood-letting in patients with syndrome of upper hyperactivity of liver yang in acute cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 182 patients with syndrome of upper hyperactivity of liver yang in acute cerebral infarction treated in Bozhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Anhui Province from March to December 2021 were selected and divided into control group and observation group by envelope method, with 91 cases in each group. Both groups received routine intervention for acute cerebral infarction, and the observation group received ear tip blood-letting on the basis of the control group. The course of treatment was two weeks. The main symptom score of syndrome of upper hyperactivity of liver yang in acute cerebral infarction, cranial nerve function, and limb motor function before and after intervention were observed and compared. Results After intervention, the main symptom scores of syndrome of upper hyperactivity of liver yang in acute cerebral infarction and the scores of National Institutes of Health stroke scale in the two groups were lower than those before intervention, and the observation group was lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After intervention, the Fugel-meyer assessment scores of the two groups were higher than those before intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of ear tip blood-letting in the treatment of patients with syndrome of upper hyperactivity of liver yang in acute cerebral infarction can reduce the main symptom score, promote the recovery of cranial nerve function, improve the limb motor function of patients, which is worthy of clinical application.
