Abstract:Objective To analyze the intervention effect of standardized emergency nursing process in emergency nursing of children with bronchial asthma. Methods A total of 110 children with bronchial asthma admitted to Lu’an People’s Hospital, Anhui Province from October 2019 to September 2021 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with 55 cases in each group. The control group received routine emergency nursing, the observation group adopted standardized emergency nursing process for nursing intervention. Both groups observed that the children were discharged from hospital. The lung function, psychological status, asthma control, and quality of life were compared between the two groups before intervention and at the time of discharge. Results At discharge, forced expiratory flow 25, forced expiratory flow 50 in the observation group were higher than those before intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group (P < 0.05). The scores of self-rating anxiety scale and self-rating depression scale in the two groups were lower than those before intervention, and the observation group was lower than the control group (P < 0.05). At discharge, the scores of asthma control test, emotional function, symptoms, and activity in the observation group were higher than those before intervention and those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Standardized emergency nursing process was used in emergency nursing of children with bronchial asthma, which could effectively improve their lung function, psychological status, and quality of life, help to control their illness, and had a better intervention effect.
