Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of CICARE communication mode combined with moxa stick moxibustion on compliance and clinical efficacy of children with mesenteric lymphadenitis. Methods A total of 90 children with mesenteric lymphadenitis admitted to the First Department of Pediatrics, Taihe Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Anhui University of Chinese Medicine from August 2019 to August 2021 were selected as research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into experimental group and control group, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional communication combined with moxa stick moxibustion intervention, while the experimental group was given CICARE communication mode combined with moxa stick moxibustion intervention. The compliance scores before intervention and 14 days after intervention were compared between two groups; the clinical efficacy, nursing satisfaction, and symptom relief time were compared between two groups. Results After intervention, the scores of diet cooperation, medication cooperation, nurse-patient communication, return review cooperation, and treatment compliance in experimental group were higher than those before intervention, and experimental group was higher than control group (P < 0.05). The clinical efficacy of experimental group was better than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The satisfaction scores of nurse-patient communication, ward environment, health education, and nursing technology in experimental group were higher than those in control group (P < 0.05). The disappearance time of abdominal pain, vomiting, hyperpyrexia, and abnormal stool in experimental group was shorter than that in control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion CICARE communication mode combined with moxa stick moxibustion can improve the compliance and clinical efficacy of children with mesenteric lymphadenitis, improve the nursing satisfaction of children’s families, which has important clinical application value.
