Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of progressive resistance and muscle relaxation training on skeletal rehabilitation of tibiofibular fracture patients. Methods From May 2020 to May 2021, 88 patients with tibial fracture after surgery in the Affiliated Huaian N0.1 People’s Hospital of Nanjing Medical University were selected as the research objects they were divided into control group (44 cases, applied muscle relaxation training) and combined group (44 cases, applied muscle relaxation training + progressive resistance training) by random number table method. Results Compared with before intervention, visual analogue scale (VAS) score decreased and Kolcaba general comfort questionnaie (GCQ) score increased in the two groups after intervention, and VAS score in the combined group was lower than that in the control group, and GCQ score was higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). After intervention, the lower extremity function scale (LEFS) score of the two groups was higher than that before intervention, and the physiscal self-maintenance scale (PSMS) score was lower than that before intervention, and the LEFS score of the combined group was higher than that of the control group, and the PSMS score was lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion For patients with tibiofibular fracture, the application of progressive resistance and muscle relaxation training can not only reduce the pain level, but also improve the comfort level and physical self-care ability of patients, and promote the functional recovery of lower limbs, so it can be applied in clinical practice.
