Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of stroke emergency nurses’ participation in management on the treatment effect and doctor’s satisfaction of patients with acute ischemic stroke. Methods A total of 150 patients with acute ischemic stroke who met the inclusion criteria and were to undergo intravenous alteplase thrombolysis in Shaoxing People’s Hospital of Zhejiang Province were selected. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 75 cases in each group. The control group was treated according to the conventional green channel for acute ischemic stroke, while the observation group was provided with stroke emergency nurses to participate in the whole process management on the basis of the control group. The up-to-standard rate of the time from admission to medication (DNT), hospitalization time, hospitalization expenses, treatment process, and the survey doctor’s satisfaction with nursing work in the two groups were observed and recorded. Results The hospitalization time and hospitalization expenses of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, while the DNR compliance rate was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The time from admission to diagnosis, time from diagnosis to specialist treatment, time from rescue to CT examination, time from family decision-making, time from doctor visit to thrombolytic administration or intravascular rescue, time from CT to thrombolysis, and vascular rescue in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The doctor’s satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The participation of stroke emergency nurses in management is conducive to improving the treatment effect of AIS patients, enhancing the satisfaction of doctors, and saving medical expenses, which is worthy of clinical application.
