Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of the concept of enhanced recovery after surgery in perioperative nursing of children with high ligation of hernia sac. Methods Eighty children with inguinal hernia who received high ligation of hernia sac in Nantong Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2020 to June 2021 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine perioperative nursing, while the observation group received routine perioperative nursing based on the concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery. Perioperative indicators, postoperative pain, postoperative complication rate, and nursing satisfaction of family members of two groups were observed. Results After intervention, postoperative average time to eat, time to get out of bed, bowel sound, exhaust time, and hospital stay in terms of the observation group were shorter than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05); the 24 h postoperative pain in the observation group was lighter than that in the control group, and the total incidence of postoperative complications was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05); the satisfaction scores of disease observation, health education, ward management, nursing measuress, and complication prevention in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Perioperative nursing based on the concept of enhanced recovery after surgery in the treatment of high ligation of the hernia sac can effectively reduce the postoperative pain degree of children, speed up postoperative recovery, and improve the nursing satisfaction of their families.
