Abstract:As one of the tumor metastasis suppressors, KISS-1 is first discovered in human melanoma. KISS-1 has become a research hotspot in the medical field since its discovery. At present, KISS-1 has been proved to inhibit tumor metastasis, regulate gonadotrophin releasing hormone secretion, and regulate feeding behavior as an appetite regulator, so it has been included in the study of malignant tumors, reproductive system, endocrine, and metabolic diseases and other multi-system diseases. Therefore, this paper mainly discusses the effects of KISS-1 from the aspects of puberty initiation, reproductive function, energy metabolism, and other neuroendocrine functions.
