Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical application value of combined traditional Chinese and Western medicine intervention in patients with threatened abortion. Methods A total of 112 patients with threatened abortion who were admitted to Wenzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from March 2020 to April 2021 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into study group and control group according to the random number table method, with 56 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, while the study group was given routine nursing intervention combined with acupoint sticking. The psychological status scores, clinical symptoms improvement, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. Results After the intervention, the depression and anxiety self-rating scale scores in the two groups were lower than those before the intervention, while those of the study group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The time required for bleeding cessation, abdominal pain and low back pain relief in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After the intervention, the nursing satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine intervention for threatened abortion patients has a good effect, can significantly improve the patient’s anxiety, relieve their clinical symptoms, and is worthy of popularization and application.
