Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of nutritional support on children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) based on data standardized processing analysis of nutritional status. Methods A total of 60 children with ALL were selected from the Affiliated Huaian NO.1 People’s Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from January 2018 to December 2020 were selected, they were divided into study group and control group by random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given nutritional support according to 2018 ESPEN Critical Clinical Nutrition Guidelines, while study group was given nutritional support based on data standardized processing analysis of nutritional status. The nutritional status and physical indicators of two groups were compared on admission and at 20 d of nutritional support, and the infection status was counted at 20 d of nutritional support. Results At 20 d of nutritional support, serum albumin and serum prealbumin in both groups were higher than those on admission, and study group was higher than control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The upper arm circumference of two groups was higher than that on admission, and study group was higher than control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The triceps skin fold thickness of study group was higher than that on admission, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The incidence of respiratory tract infection, oral infection, perianal infection, and lung infection in study group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Nutritional support based on data standardized processing analysis of nutritional status can correct malnutrition and control the incidence of infection.
