Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of different cesarean section operation timings on stress response and delivery risk of scarred uterus re-pregnancy. Methods The clinical data of 105 cases of re-pregnant women with scarred uterus admitted to Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University from May 2017 to May 2020 were selected, according to the different operation timings of elective cesarean section, they were divided into 37 weeks ≤gestational week <39 weeks group (group A, 50 cases) and gestational age ≥39 weeks group (group B, 55 cases). The stress state before delivery and 24 h after delivery, complication rate, and pregnancy outcome of two groups were compared. Results The levels of aldosterone (ALD) and cortisol (Cor) in both groups 24 h were higher than those before delivery, and the level of norepinephrine (NA) in group A was higher than that before delivery, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The levels of ALD, NA, and Cor in group B 24 h after delivery were lower than those in group A, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The total incidence complication of group B was lower than that of group A, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The amount of postpartum blood loss in group B was less than that in group A, the length of hospitalization was shorter than that in group A, and the Apgar score of newborn was higher than that in group A, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in neonatal weight between two groups (P > 0.05). There was no neonatal death in both groups. The incidence of neonatal respiratory diseases in group B was lower than that in group A, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); there was no significant difference in puerperal infection rate between two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion Cesarean section can not only reduce stress response, but also reduce the incidence of complications and achieve better pregnancy outcomes for women with scarred uterus re-pregnancy over 39 weeks of gestation.
