Abstract:This article summarizes Professor Lin Qian’s experience in treating patients with acute myocardial infarction in the perioperative period using a combination of whose and local syndrome differentiation of qi and blood theory. Professor Lin Qian believes that blood stasis due to qi deficiency, stagnation, and blood heat, and stasis and heat are the main pathogenic mechanisms for the recurrence of major adverse cardiovascular events and the development of in-stent restenosis in patients with acute myocardial infarction in the perioperative period. Professor Lin Qian inherited Professor Liao Jiazhen’s academic ideas of whole and local syndrome differentiation, and proposed the “qi and blood theory” of holistic identification combined with “trauma repair theory” of localized treatment. Professor Lin Qian applied the method of benefiting qi, invigorating blood, and cooling blood locally to generate muscle in perioperative patients with acute myocardial infarction. This approach has good clinical outcomes, can improve patient discomfort, reduces the occurrence of major adverse cardiovascular events, can reduce the probability of in-stent restenosis, and improves the quality of life of patients in the perioperative period of acute myocardial infarction.
