Abstract：Normal high blood pressure is a high risk predictor of hypertensive patients, early intervention is of great significance. The prevention and treatment of normal high blood pressure with traditional Chinese medicine fully embodies the advantages and characteristics of “ preventive treatment of disease” in traditional Chinese medicine. This paper summarizes the research progress of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of normal high blood pressure from the aspects of Chinese medicine prescription, with medicine generation of tea, acupuncture, moxibustion, auricular point pressing with bean, acupoint application, catgut implantation at acupoint, foot bath, and so on, which provides an important basis for better reducing the risk of patients with normal high blood pressure.
