Abstract:Objective To compare the therapeutic effects of electroacupuncture therapy with different waveforms on knee osteoarthritis with syndrome of blood stasis obstruction and stagnation. Methods A total of 90 patients on knee osteoarthritis with syndrome of blood stasis obstruction and stagnation admitted to NO.900 Hospital of the Joint Logistic Support Force of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army from July 2018 to December 2020 were studied. According to the random number table method, they were divided into intermittent electric wave group, continuous electric wave group, and dense electric wave group, with 30 cases in each group. The knee function, inflammatory factors, and clinical efficacy of the three groups were compared. Results After treatment, the knee function scores of the three groups were higher than those before treatment, and those of the continuous electric wave group and the dense electric wave group were higher than those of the intermittent electric wave group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of interleukin-1 in the three groups were lower than those before treatment, and the levels of transforming growth factor -β1 in the three groups were higher than those before treatment, and the level of interleukin-1 in the density electric wave group was lower than that in the intermittent electric wave group and continuous electric wave group, and the level of transforming growth factor -β1 in the density electric wave group was higher than that in the intermittent electric wave group and continuous electric wave group (P < 0.05). The clinical efficacy of density electric wave group was better than that of intermittent electric wave group and continuous electric wave group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The use of density electric wave in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with syndrome of blood stasis obstruction and stagnation can improve the function of knee joint, and regulate inflammatory factors with significantly effective.
