Abstract：Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is characterized by early age of onset, invasive strong, and high degree of malignancy, and how to prevent its recurrence and metastasis is the key to improve prognosis. Professor Li Peiwen has rich experience in traditional Chinese medicine intervention for TNBC during the “empty window period”, and believes that the main pathogenesis of recurrence and metastasis of TNBC is closely related to the spleen and kidney insufficiency, liver qi depression, and phlegm and stasis with toxin accumulation. This paper summarizes Professor Li’s common clinical herbal pairs based on the theory of prevention before disease onset, summarizes the herbal compatibility characteristics and clinical applications of Radix Astragali seu Hedysari-Herba Epimedii, Flos Rosae Rugosae-Cortex Albiziae, Pericarpium Trichosanthis-Pseudobulbus Cremastrae seu Pleiones, Concha Ostreae-Carapax Trionycis, Semen Citri Reticulatae-Radix Ranunculi Ternati, Herba Scutellariae Barbatae-Herba Duchesnea Indica, anf Flos Carthami-Hirudo, and attached a medical case, in order to help colleagues.
