Effects of ultrasound-guided catheter thrombolysis combined with AngioJet thrombus suction in the treatment of deep venous thrombosis of lower extremities#br#

Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of ultrasound-guided catheter thrombolysis combined with AngioJet thrombus suction in the treatment of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) of lower extremities. Methods A total of 73 patients with DVT in lower extremities admitted to the Department of Vascular Surgery, Taizhou Municipal Hospital of Zhejiang Province from January 2017 to January 2020 were selected and they were divided into the observation group (37 cases) and the control group (36 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with ultrasound-guided catheter thrombolysis, and the observation group was treated with ultrasound-guided catheter thrombolysis combined with AngioJet thrombus suction. Clinical efficacy, thrombus removal effect, Villalta scores, and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The clinical efficacy and thrombus removal effect of the observation group were better than those of the control group, the average times of thrombolysis and hospitalization were shorter than those of the control group, and the dosage of urokinase was less than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Overall comparison: there were statistically significant differences in Villalta score between the two groups, time points, and interactions (P < 0.05). Intra-group comparison: Villalta score was increased in both groups at 6 and 12 months after surgery compared with 3 months after surgery, Villalta score was increased in both groups at 12 months after surgery compared with 6 months after surgery, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Comparison between groups: Villalta score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group at 3, 6, and 12 months after surgery, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion Ultrasonic-guided catheter thrombolysis combined with AngioJet thrombus suction can rapidly clear DVT of lower extremities, reduce urokinase dosage and lower Villalta score.
