Abstract:Objective To study the clinical application effects of minimally invasive ultra-thin veneer technology in the aesthetic restoration of patients with anterior interdental space. Methods A total of 160 patients with anterior interdental space admitted to the Department of Stomatology of the Second People’s Hospital of Hefei from January 2017 to April 2019 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, 80 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with minimally invasive ultra-thin veneer, while the control group was treated with conventional all-ceramic veneer. After the treatment, the self-made questionnaire was used to investigate the evaluation of the aesthetic degree of the prosthesis in both groups. Meanwhile, the two groups were followed up for 18 months. After the follow-up, the two groups were evaluated by the United States Public Health Service dental prosthodontic evaluation criteria, and the incidence of complications between the two groups was compared. Results Eighteen months after treatment, there were no statistical significances in the evaluation of dentition integrity, natural color of tooth surface, natural edge of tooth surface, and tooth body permeability between the two groups (P > 0.05). The total satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Eighteen months after treatment, the total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Minimally invasive ultra-thin veneer has a relatively comprehensive aesthetic effect of tooth restoration, and patients have higher satisfaction with the restoration and fewer long-term complications. In clinical practice, patients’ dental conditions and actual needs can be combined to select a better dental restoration program.
