Abstract:On the basis of discussing the research background on combination of games and education, this paper discusses the connotation of the interactive model of games-education. It also, based on the social role theory, flow theory, and narrative medical education, analyzes the interaction and theoretical basis between Chinese medicine subject learners, subject knowledge, medical cases and game characters, levels and stories. That demonstrates the adaptability of the game-education interaction model applied to traditional Chinese medicine education. Meanwhile, an role-playing game (RPG) “The Road to Famous traditional Chinese medicine” is taken as an example to show the construction path of the game-education interactive mode. The mode includes selecting the game form with RPG as the framework, identifying the positioning of the game with traditional Chinese medicine education as the core, and clarifying the design principles based on game-education-participant with the three-way interaction between game. With the further development and application of information technology, game-education interactive mode may become more operable and extensible, and become a new mode of traditional Chinese medicine teaching, which can effectively supplement the traditional Chinese teaching mode.
