Application of structural group psychotherapy combined with social interaction training in patients with post-stroke depression#br#

Abstract：Objective To observe the application effect of structural group psychotherapy combined with social interaction training in patients with post-stroke depression. Methods A total of 120 patients with post-stroke depression treated in West China Hospital Sichuan University from January to June 2019 were selected as the research subject, they were divided into study group and control group by a random number table method, with 60 cases in each group; the control group received social communication training, and the study group received structured group psychotherapy on the basis of the control group, both groups received continuous intervention for eight weeks; the psychological status (self-rating Depression scale [SDS], self-rating anxiety scale [SAS] )， and social function (scale of social function deficit for mantal disorders [SSFD-MD] ) of the two groups were analyzed and compared before intervention and eight weeks after intervention. Results After eight weeks of intervention, SDS and SAS scores of both groups were lower than those before intervention, and the study group was lower than the control group (P ＜ 0.05); eight weeks after intervention, the scores of social participation, family life, self-care, getting along with others, understanding and communication in SSFD-MD of both groups were higher than those before intervention, and the study group was higher than the control group (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion Structural group psychotherapy combined with social interaction training can reduce the depression and anxiety of patients with post-stroke depression, and improve their social function.
