Abstract:Objective To track the hot spots and cutting-edge developments in the field of exploration, CiteSpace software was used to draw knowledge maps for nested case-control related literatures for visual analysis. Methods Nested case-control study papers collected by China National Knowledge Infrastructure from January 2001 to January 2021 were searched and visualized for the number of publications, keywords, analysis of authors and institutions, and literature co-citation. Results A total of 335 articles were included, and the fluctuation of the number of articles increased year by year. The content focused on the research of disease surveillance and inhibitory treatment, with agents, adverse reactions and diabetes as the new research frontier. In terms of publishing institutions and scholars, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and Renmin University of China had close cooperation, while other institutions had published papers independently. Conclusion This paper reveals the research strength, development context, research hotspot and frontier of this field in the past 20 years, and provides reference for future researches.
