Abstract:Objective To discuss the influence of the five-in-one master-appretice education of traditional Chinese medicine model on students’ autonomy, in order to provide a reference for the training model of Chinese medicine talents. Methods A questionnaire was used to conduct research on 351 students receiving master-appretice education of traditional Chinese medicine. The questions involved three aspects, including the necessity of introducing master-appretice education of traditional Chinese medicine into the undergraduate class of Chinese medicine, and whether it would improve students’ interest in learning Chinese medicine, critical thinking, and independent learning ability after the master-appretice education of traditional Chinese medicine. Results 90.6% of students believed that it was necessary to introduce a master-appretice education of traditional Chinese medicine model at the undergraduate level, 91.2% of the students believed that the introduction of master-appretice education of traditional Chinese medicine in the undergraduate course could increase their interest in learning Chinese medicine, and 90.6% of students believed that master-appretice education of traditional Chinese medicine could enhance their independent learning ability. 91.5% of the students believed that the master-appretice education of traditional Chinese medicine model could improve their critical thinking skills, while 91.5% of the students believed that the master-appretice education of traditional Chinese medicine was conducive to the development of personality and teaching students in accordance with their aptitude. Conclusion The majority of students affirm the advantages of master-appretice education and believe that their autonomy could be improved through the teaching of the five-in-one master-appretice education model.
