Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of repeated first aid drill on the comprehensive first aid ability of nurses. Methods Twenty-one nurses from Ward Four, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Dalian Central Hospital of Liaoning Province from December 2019 to December 2020 were selected as the research subjects. Combat and emergency drill training teams were established. Nurses in the department carry out actual combat and emergency plan learning, including determining contents, making plans, drawing up actual combat and drill plans, role configuration, on-site actual combat and real scene simulation of first-aid implementation. After the training, review, analysis and summary were carried out, 24 actual combat and retelling simulation first aid drills were carried out, each session continuous 90 minutes. The first aid practice ability and preparation time of first aid materials of nurses after training were compared with those before training. Results After the training, the theoretical knowledge and practical ability of first aid were higher than before, the preparation time of emergency supplies was shorter than that before the training, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After the training, the scores of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, electrocardiogram monitoring, use of defibrillator, oxygen inhalation of nasal obstruction, sputum aspiration technique, and venous puncture were all higher than before, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The comprehensive ability of first aid of nurses can be improved through the drill of repeated first aid technique.
