Abstract：Chronic diseases health management is an important part in the practice teaching of health service and management professional courses. Based on the teaching concept of “new medical science”, a virtual simulation experimental teaching platform for chronic diseases health management is built by using virtual simulation, multimedia, human-computer interaction, database and network communication technologies, the virtual simulation experiment teaching platform of chronic disease health management is constructed. The platform integrates health information collection, health risk assessment, health intervention and follow-up services into the virtual simulation experiment scene of chronic diseases health management (hypertension, diabetes and dyslipidemia), so that the students can have a comprehensive and systematic understanding of health management service process. Virtual simulation experiment teaching not only expands the traditional teaching mode, and greatly improves the teaching effect, strengthens the professional literacy education and enhances the sense of professional identity.
