Abstract:Objective To study the clinical effect of self-made Lifei Huayu Prescription on bronchial asthma patients. Methods A total of 80 patients with bronchial asthma admitted to the Third People’s Hospital of Nantong City from January 2018 to April 2020 were selected and divided into two groups by odd and even grouping method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was given basic treatment, and the observation group was given self-made Lifei Huayu Prescription on the basis of the control group. Both groups were given continuous treatment for two weeks. The efficacy of the two groups was compared. Asthma control test table (ACT) score and the serum levels of immunoglobulin (Ig), cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP), interleukin (IL)-10, and IL-33 in both groups were observed. Results The total effective rate of observation group was higher than control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). There were no significant differences in ACT score, serum IgG, IgA, IgM, cAMP, IL-10, and IL-33 levels between the two groups before treatment (P > 0.05). After treatment, ACT score, Ig, cAMP, and IL-10 levels were increased compared with before treatment, while IL-33 level was decreased compared with before treatment in the two groups. After treatment, ACT score, Ig, cAMP, and IL-10 levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, while IL-33 level was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Self-made Lifei Huayu Prescription can improve the immune function of bronchial asthma patients, regulate the levels of cAMP, IL-10, and IL-33, and effectively control asthma.
