Abstract:Acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) is a major public health problem worldwide. Some patients have a series of complications due to incomplete immune reconstitution, which accelerates the disease process and seriously affects their quality of life. In recent years, domestic and foreign scholars have carried out a large number of studies in the field of incomplete immune reconstitution of AIDS. This paper reviews AIDS incomplete immune reconstitution pathogenesis and treatment progress from modern medical and traditional medical perspectives by reviewing relevant studies in recent years. It is found that Western medicine focuses on the decline of the number of CD4+T lymphocytes and adopts individualized treatment for different causes, while traditional Chinese medicine concentrates on the vital qi exhaustion of five zang viscera and chooses different strengthening programs. Both Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine have unique advantages. However, the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine has more advantages in effect and safety, but lacks more powerful evidence-based medical evidence, which is worth further digging, in order to form a complete and standardized treatment system.
