Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of WeChat continuous nutritional intervention on the hope level, quality of life, and nutritional status of patients with external gastric cancer after surgery. Methods A total of 85 patients undergoing gastric cancer surgery collected from Hainan General Hospital from January 2017 to January 2020 were included in the survey, and they were divided into control group (42 cases) and observation group (43 cases) by computer-digital randomization. The control group used routine nursing care, which included discharge guidance and follow-up records, while the observation group used WeChat continuous nutrition intervention nursing on the basis of the former. The Herth hope index and the short form 36-item health survey were used to evaluate the hope level, quality of life, and complication rate of the two groups at discharge and three months after discharge. Results The positive attitude, intimacy, positive action, and total scores of the two groups were higher than those three months after discharge, while the observation group was higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The health feeling, physical sensation, social integration, and sleep quality of two groups were higher than those three months after discharge, while the observation group was higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion WeChat continuous nutritional intervention can gradually promote the return of patients to life and society under the gradual restoration of gastrointestinal function, enhance the quality of life of patients, and also have certain help for the treatment effect of patients.
