Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of individualized nutrition intervention on the control of blood glucose and inflammation in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) patients. Methods A total of 120 patients with GDM who were admitted to the Department of Obstetrics, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xingtai Medical College from January to December 2019 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into study group and control group according to the random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The control group took regular dietary guidance, and the study group took individualized nutritional intervention on the basis of the control group. The intervention was performed until the patient had a threatened cessation of childbirth. The blood glucose levels before and after the intervention (fasting blood glucose [FBG], two hours fasting blood glucose [2hFBG]), C-reactive protein (CRP) were compared, while the short form 36-item health survey score, nursing satisfaction, and perinatal outcome after the intervention were evaluated. Results After the intervention, FBG, 2hFBG, and CRP of two groups were lower than those before the intervention, while the study group was lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The total incidence of perinatal complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The total incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The scores of health feeling, physical sensation, sleep state, life satisfaction, and cognitive function in the quality of life score of the study group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Individualized nutrition intervention can effectively regulate the blood glucose level of patients with GDM, reduce the inflammatory response of the patients, improve the perinatal outcome of mothers and infants, and can also improve the quality of life and nursing satisfaction of patients. It is worthy of clinical application.
