Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of informatization management system in device management of central sterile supply department. Methods A total of 1000 medical devices recovered from Central Sterile Supply Department of Xuzhou Central Hospital, Jiangsu Province from December 2018 to November 2020 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into control group and experimental group by random number table method, with 500 devices in each group. The control group adopted the traditional management mode, and the experimental group adopted the informatization management system. The indicators of device condition (qualified rate of cleaning, damage rate, qualified rate of packaging, qualified rate of distribution) and the indicators of management effect (recycling classification time, information registration time, warehouse-out inspection time) were compared between the two groups. Results The qualified rate of cleaning, packaging and distribution in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the damage rate of equipment was lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The recycling classification time, information registration time and warehouse-out inspection time in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of the information management system in central sterile supply department can effectively improve the work quality and efficiency, and makes the operation of central sterile supply department more professional and standardized, which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
