Abstract:Objective To discuss the application effect of full-time patrol class in neonatal intensive care unit. Methods Two thousand two hundred and thirteen cases of children in Department of Premature and Neonatal Care Unit, Bayi Children's Hospital Affiliated to Army General Hospital were selected as research objects. According to the admission time, 1106 cases of children before setting full-time patrol class from January to June 2015 were taken as conventional group and 1107 cases of children after setting full-time patrol class from July to December 2015 were taken as improved group. The incidence of clinical adverse events, success rate of rescue, satisfaction rate of doctors for nursing care were compared. Results The total incidence of clinical adverse events in improved group was 16.16%, which was significantly lower than that of conventional group (33.99%), the difference was highly statistically significant (P < 0.01). The success rate of rescue in the improved group was 98.0%, which was significantly higher than that of the conventional group (93.8%), the difference was highly statistically significant (P < 0.01). The satisfaction rate of doctors for nursing care in the conventional group and improved group was 89.1% and 95.2% respectively, the difference was highly statistically significant (P < 0.01). Conclusion The application of full-time tour class in neonatal intensive care unit can ensure the safety of medical care and promote the healthy development of the hospital, which is worthy of promotion in neonatal intensive care unit.
