Abstract:Objective To discuss the effect of PDCA method application in liver-protective agents management. Methods The application of liver-protective agents in the First People's Hospital of Guangyuan City from July 2014 to July 2016 were analyzed, of which, 100 cases of patients treated with liver-protective agents given no PDCA management method from July 2014 to July 2015 were selected as the control group, 100 cases of patients treated with liver-protective agents given PDCA management method from August 2015 to July 2016 were selected as the observation group. The scores of medicine management, adverse drug reaction rate, life quality scores, error rate of batch number management, error rate of drug dispensing, satisfaction of the two group were compared. Results The scores of storage environment, sorting placement, preservation method, date processing of liver-protective agents in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The incidence of anaphylactic reaction, cardiovascular system injury, gastrointestinal tract injury, renal function injury, nervous system injury of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05). Before the treatment of liver-protective agents, the scores of physical function, charactar status, social function, mental health of the two groups had no statistically significant differences (P > 0.05). After treatment, the scores of physical function, charactar status, social function, mental health of the two groups were all higher than those of before treatment, of which the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The error rates of batch number management and drug dispensing of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05), while the satisfaction rate was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of PDCA method in liver-protective agents management can improve the management quality of drugs, decrease adverse drug reaction rate, increase life quality and satisfaction of patients. It is worthy of clinical application.
