Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effects of two kinds of surgical methods for the treatment of brainstem hemorrhage under the guidance of stereotactic navigation. Methods From January 2014 to December 2017, in Bayi Brain Hospital Affiliated to Army General Hospital, 52 patients with brain stem hemorrhage underwent operation treatment were selected, according to treatment methods, the patients were divided into group A (n = 26), and treated with the operation mode of the infratemporal approach; group B (n = 26), treated with operation mode of the occipital approach for treatment. The clinical effects and prognosis of the two groups were analyzed and compared according to the prognosis criteria of Glasgow. Results The good rate of group A was 19.23% (5/26), the rate of heavy disability was 11.54% (3/26), the mortality rate was 69.23% (18/26), the good rate of group B was 23.08% (6/26), and the rate of heavy disability was 15.38% (4/26) and the mortality was 61.54% (16/26); two groups were compared, the differences were not statistically significant (P > 0.05). Conclusion The clinical curative effect of the two groups is equal, the hospital should make the best operation plan according to the patients′ actual condition.
