Abstract:Objective To analyze the influence of puncture point compression and hemostasis time after radial artery puncture on patients, summarize the experience of controlling hemostasis time. Methods From July 2016 to May 2017, in Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Qianjiang Central Hospital, 164 patients treated with interventional therapy were selected. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the experiment group and the control group, with 82 cases in each group. All patients were given routine nursing, while the control group received conventional compression after operation. When the compression time reached 4 h, the first circle of adhesive tape was removed, when the compression time reaches 24 h, remove second circles of adhesive tape; the experiment group received conventional compression after operation, and when the compression time reached 4 h, the first circle of adhesive tape was removed, when the compression time reached 8 h, remove second circles of adhesive tape. The bleeding, hematoma and other related complications were compared in the two groups, and the time of hospitalization, bed time, hospitalization expenses and the index of satisfaction were compared and analyzed in the two groups. Results Two patients withdrew from experiment group, three patients withdrew from control group. The incidence of puncture site bleeding in the experiment group was 2.50%, that in the control group was 2.53%, two groups were compared, the difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). The incidence of other related adverse reactions in the experiment group (2.50%) was significantly lower than that in the control group (12.66%), the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). In the experiment group, the bed time [(1.6±0.6) d] and the nursing care satisfaction of the puncture point [(8.4±1.2) scores] were compared with those in the control group [(2.3±0.8) d and (7.5±1.5)score], the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). In the experiment group, the hospitalization time [(3.4±1.1) d] and the hospitalization cost[ (21.3±4.3) thousand yuan] were compared with those in the control group [(3.5±1.2) d, (22.5±4.8)thousand yuan], the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Second laps of glue can not increase the risk of bleeding after puncture point 8 hours after percutaneous radial artery puncture, but it can reduce the incidence of other related adverse reactions, shorten the bed time and improve the patients' satisfaction.
