Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of core area training on improving pain degree of patients with lumbar muscle strain. Methods A total of 106 patients with lumbar muscle strain selected from the Department of Rehabilitation and Acupuncture Changzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Jiangsu Province from August 2020 to January 2022 were selected as the research object. The patients were divided into control group and observation group, with 53 cases in each group. The control group took balance tank, and the observation group added core area training on the basis of the control group. Visual analog scale score, lumbar Roland-Morris dysfunction questionnaire score, lumbar motion, and quality of life were compared before and after intervention between the two groups. Results After intervention, the visual analog scale score and lumbar Roland-Morris dysfunction questionnaire score of two groups were lower than those before intervention, and the observation group was lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the lumbar motion of the two groups was higher than that before intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the quality of life scores of the two groups were higher than those before intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion For patients with lumbar muscle strain, the combination of balance tank and core area training can effectively reduce the degree of daily pain, improve waist dysfunction, and enhance the range of daily motion of the lumbar spine, which is conducive to enhancing the quality of life.
