Abstract:Objective To investigate the influencing factors of pulmonary infection in patients with cerebral hemorrhage after tracheotomy. Methods A total of 146 patients with cerebral hemorrhage admitted to the First Hospital of Handan City, Hebei Province from April 2020 to March 2022 were selected, all of whom underwent hematoma removal under general anesthesia. According to the condition of lung infection, the patients were divided into infected group and non-infected group, and the clinical characteristics of the two groups were compared to determine the influencing factors of lung infection. Results The pulmonary infection rate of 146 patients with cerebral hemorrhage was 21.92% (32/146). There were statistically significant differences in smoking history, malnutrition, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bleeding site, preoperative Glasgow coma scale score, tracheotomy time, and indwelling gastric tube ratio between the two groups (P<0.05). Logistic regression results showed that malnutrition, bleeding site, preoperative Glasgow coma score, tracheotomy time, and indwelling gastric tube were risk factors for pulmonary infection (OR>1, P<0.05). Conclusion Patients with cerebral hemorrhage tracheotomy should strengthen nutrition, shorten the time of tracheotomy, strengthen the intervention of indwelling gastric tube and so on, and actively prevent and treat pulmonary infection.
