Abstract:Objective To explore the CiteSpace was used to visualize the research status, trends and hot spots of spleen deficiency syndrome. Methods Literature related to spleen deficiency syndrome published from the establishment of China National Knowledge Infrastructure and Web of Science database to December 31, 2021 were collected. CiteSpace was used for visualization analysis of author, institution, keyword co-occurrence and emergence, keyword, time graph and time zone graph. Results A total of 2 474 Chinese and 61 English literatures were included. The publication of Chinese and English literature is generally on the rise. The author with the largest number of publications in Chinese literature is Shan Dehong, and English literature was GUANG JI. Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine published the most Chinese literature, while Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine published the most English literature. In addition to the subject word, the top three Chinese keywords were animal model, Sijunzi Decoction and epigastric pain, and the top three English keywords were traditional Chinese medicine, Sijunzi Decoction, the gut microbiota, cluster analysis of keywords showed that 15 clusters were obtained in Chinese literature and eight clusters were obtained in English literature, which mainly focused on the treatment of spleen deficiency syndrome, model preparation and pathogenic mechanism of spleen deficiency syndrome. Conclusion The research on spleen deficiency syndrome is mainly domestic research, and the cooperation among various groups needs to be strengthened. The pathogenic mechanism of spleen deficiency syndrome, the preparation of animal models, and the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine are the research hotspots in this field, and the future research trends are metabonomics, the treatment of spleen deficiency gastric cancer and gastric ulcer.
