Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of self-made new atomizing assembly for gas cutting cannula in tracheotomy patients. Methods Sixty patients with percutaneous spin dilatation tracheotomy (PSDT) admitted to the Emergency Intensive Care Unit of the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University from January 2019 to January 2022 were selected as the study objects, according to random number table method, they were divided into control group (29 cases) and experimental group (31 cases), the control group was treated with conventional atomization methods, the experimental group was treated with self-made atomizing components for gas cutting cannula, the vital signs during sputum aspiration, the effect of airway humidification and the incidence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results The vital signs of airway resistance, blood pressure and heart rate during sputum aspiration in experimental group were lower than those in control group, and blood oxygen was higher than that in control group (P<0.05). Airway humidification effect of experimental group was better than that of control group (P<0.05). There was no postoperative pulmonary infection in the experimental group, and the incidence of postoperative pulmonary infection in control group was 20.69%, the incidence of postoperative pulmonary infection in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion In the process of improving PSDT treatment, self-made new atomizing assembly for gas cutting cannula was scientifically and reasonably applied to assist the intervention, it can effectively improve the clinical effect of emergency intensive care unit patients, improve physical function, and reduce postoperative pulmorary infection. It has good clinical application and popularization value.
