Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of postoperative functional rehabilitation nursing in patients with rotator cuff injury. Methods Eighty patients with rotator cuff injury treated in Bozhou People’s Hospital of Anhui Province from April 2020 to January 2022 were selected. The reference group received routine nursing intervention after surgery, and the study group strengthened functional rehabilitation nursing on the basis of routine nursing. Both groups were treated for 16 weeks. The recovery time and the recovery effect of joint function were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the mean postoperative pain duration and shoulder function recovery time of the study group were shorter than those of the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); At 8 and 16 weeks after intervention, ADL, shoulder range of motion, muscle strength score and total score of shoulder joint function between the two groups showed no statistical significance (P>0.05), while the difference of each score time was statistically significant (P<0.05). The pain score of the study group at 8 and 16 weeks after intervention was lower than that of the reference group. ADL, shoulder motion score and total score were all in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Postoperative functional rehabilitation nursing for patients with rotator cuff injury can effectively accelerate the speed of rehabilitation and improve the effect of joint function recovery.
