Exploration on the medication rule of Zhang Wei in the treatment of insomnia based on the traditional Chinese medicine inheritance assistant platform#br#

Abstract:Objective To explore the medication rule of insomnia patients in Dr Zhang Wei’s outpatient department and inpatient department through the traditional Chinese medicine inheritance assistant platform. Methods A total of 174 cases of insomnia patients and 416 visits from January 2017 to December 2020 in Xi’an Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected. Traditional Chinese medicine inheritance assistant platform V2.5 was used to summarized and analyzed. Results Syndrome of water retention due to qi deficiency was the most widely used syndrome type in clinic. Buzhong Yiqi Decoction were the main basal prescriptions. There were 21 Chinese herbs with frequencies >80; 22 groups of common drug pairs; the further evolved into six core medicine combinations, and three new prescriptions. Conclusion Dr Zhang Wei’s treatment of insomnia is mainly focuses on replenishing qi and invigorating spleen, strengthening spleen and eliminating dampness, harmonizing yingfen and weifen, combined with the products of regulating qi, promoting blood circulation, and tranquillization, provids new ideas and new plans for the clinical treatment of insomnia, which has strong clinical guiding significance.
