Abstract:Objective To explore the effect and safety of non-invasive sputum suction technique in nursing of children with bronchopneumonia. Methods A total of 86 children with bronchopneumonia admitted to Bengbu Third People’s Hospital, Anhui Province from April 2021 to March 2022 were selected and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method. During the nursing period, the children in the control group (43 cases) were given traditional sputum suction, and the children in the observation group (43 cases) were given non-invasive sputum suction. The effect of sputum suction, the degree of sputum suction cooperation, the incidence of sputum suction complications, and the recovery indicators of physical signs were observed and compared between the two groups. Results The sputum suction effect and the degree of sputum suction coordination of the observation group were better than those of the control group, and the total incidence of complications was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The time of antipyretic, cough, lung rales disappeared, asthma disappeared, and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Non-invasive sputum suction in the nursing of children with bronchopneumonia can effectively improve the overall effect of sputum suction, improve the cooperation degree of children, significantly reduce sputum suction related complications, and help shorten the recovery time of children.
