Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of behavior change theory nursing model on psychological emotion and cognitive function of patients with psychosomatic disorders. Methods A total of 150 patients with psychosomatic disorders admitted to the Seventh People’s Hospital of Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province from December 2016 to December 2020 were selected, according to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 75 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine nursing, while the observation group was treated with the nursing model of behavior change theory on the basis of the control group. The two groups were continuously intervened for eight weeks, and the scores of psychological emotion and cognitive ability were compared between the two groups, and the nursing satisfaction of the two groups was counted. Results Overall analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) scores between the two groups, time points and interaction (P < 0.05); further pairwise comparison, intra-group comparison: SAS and SDS scores of the two groups at each time point (P < 0.05); comparison between groups: at four and eight weeks after intervention, the SAS and SDS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05). Overall analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in Montreal scale (MoCA) scores between groups, time points and interaction between the two groups (P < 0.05); further pairwise comparison and intra-group comparison: the MoCA score of the two groups at each time point was statistically significant (P < 0.05); comparison between groups: at four and eight weeks after intervention, the MoCA score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Eight weeks after intervention, the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The nursing model of behavioral change theory can effectively improve the psychological and emotional state of patients with psychosomatic disorders, improve their cognitive ability and nursing satisfaction.
