Abstract:Objective To study the clinical efficacy of Qingshen Guanchang Fluid in the treatment of chronic renal failure. Methods A total of 66 patients with chronic renal failure admitted to Department of Nephrology, Wuhu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2018 to January 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 33 cases in each group. The control group was treated with basic therapy, while the observation group was treated with Qingshen Guanchang Fluid on the basis of the control group. Traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores, renal function indexes, laboratory related indexes, clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the scores of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P < 0.01). After treatment, the levels of serum creatinine, urea nitrogen, uric acid, and cystatin C in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of serum calcium, phosphorus, and potassium in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the clinical effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion Qingshen Guanchang Fluid is safe and effective in the treatment of chronic renal failure.
