Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of PDCA cycle management on the treatment effect and prognosis of children with mycoplasma pneumoniae. Methods A total of 80 children with mycoplasma pneumonia who had received treatment in 904th Hospital of the Joint Logistic Support Force of the People’s Liberation Army from March 2019 to March 2020 were selected, and according to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine care for intervention, whereas the observation group was given both routine care and PDCA cycle management. The therapeutic effect, adverse reactions, time for the remission of clinical symptoms and parental satisfaction to nursing were compared. Results The total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the total incidence of adverse reactions was lower than that in the control group, cough disappearance time, antipyretic time, and hospitalization time were shorter than those in the control group, and the total satisfaction of parents’ satisfaction was shown to be higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion For children with mycoplasma pneumoniae, based on routine treatment and care intervention, the additional application of PDCA cycle management is good for the improvement of nursing service, and the remission of clinical symptoms. Besides, it is with fewer adverse reactions induced, with significant clinical nursing effects, and the prognosis effect is more significant.
