Abstract：The number of patients with perimenopausal hypertension is increasing, and their diagnosis and treatment progress has received further attention. It is more and more urgent to effectively maintain the physical and mental health of women in this special age group and solve many problems caused by perimenopause and hypertension. Based on harmonize theory of liver and kidney, Professor Yang Chuanhua believes that the location of perimenopausal hypertension is liver and kidney, the pathogenesis is deficiency of kidney qi, imbalance of kidney yin and kidney yang, and stagnation of liver qi. The treatment should tonify kidney and soothe liver. Based on harmonize theory of liver and kidney, this paper summarizes the incidence, prevention and treatment of perimenopausal hypertension, provides doctors with diagnosis and treatment ideas, develops new treatment schemes, and improves the physical and mental health of patients with perimenopausal hypertension.
