Abstract：Under the background of the new era, academic schools of traditional Chinese medicine are an important link to promote the vigorous development of traditional Chinese medicine. This paper briefly describes the historical evolution and development status of Pingle Guo’s bonesetting academic school, the first national academic school of traditional Chinese medicine, and summarizes its practical experience in academic system construction, school characteristic development, talent team construction and school brand construction in recent years, and combined with the development needs of traditional Chinese medicine, this paper further puts forward some thoughts and suggestions on the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese medicine academic schools, in order to provide reference for traditional Chinese medicine academic schools to help the prosperity and revival of traditional Chinese medicine.
