Effect of subject-based diversified psychological interventions on the depression degree, mood state and quality of life of women with postpartum depression

Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of subject-based diversified psychological interventions on the degree of depression, mood state and quality of life of patients with postpartum depression. Methods A total of 137 patients with postpartum depression admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of the Air Force Military Medical University from January 2015 to December 2019, and they were divided into the observation group of 69 cases and the control group of 68 cases according to the random number table method. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was combined with the subject-based diversified psychological interventions. Followed up for six months, the depression degree, mood state and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The observation group actually included 67 patients, and the control group actually included 63 patients. Follow-up for six months, the Hamilton depression scale (HAMD) scores of the two groups were lower than before the intervention, while the observation group was lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05); the profile of mood states (POMS) scores of the two groups were lower than before the intervention, while the energy-vitality scores of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the scores of tension-anxiety, depression-depression, fatigue-indulgence were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05); the quality of life scores of the two groups were higher than before the intervention, while the physical function, role function, emotional function, cognitive function, and social function scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Subjec-tbased diversified psychological intervention can help relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with postpartum depression, adjust their mental state, and improve the quality of life of patients.
