Abstract:Objective To understand the current situation of health promotion behavior of patients with coronary heart disease, and to analyze the impact of psychological capital on health promotion behavior, and to provide basis for relevant research. Methods Using convenience sampling, a total of 360 patients with coronary heart disease who were hospitalized in the Heart Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January to March 2021 were surveyed by general information questionnaire, positive psychological capital questionnaire, and health promotion lifestyle scale Ⅱ. Results The actual total score of psychological capital was (121.8±17.2) points, and the actual total score of health promotion behavior was (126.0±21.8) points. There were statistically significant differences in the health promotion behavior and psychological capital scores of patients with coronary heart disease of different ages, past mental illness history, and educational level (P < 0.05). The level of psychological capital dimensions were positively correlated with health promotion behaviors dimensions (r > 0, P < 0.05). The results of multiple linear regression showed that self-efficacy (a), resilience (b), hope (c) and optimism (d) were related factors that affect the health promotion behavior of patients with coronary heart disease (P < 0.05). The regression equation was as follows: Y = 0.55a-0.62b+0.98c+0.65d+71.08. Conclusion Psychological capital has a positive effect on the health promotion behavior of patients, and improving the level of psychological capital of patients with coronary heart disease is conducive to changing their health promotion behavior.
