Abstract:Numerous doctors believe that kidney deficiency is the main pathogenesis of ovulatory disorder infertility, which is often clinically based on tonifying the kidney. However, with the changing role of women in society, some scholars think that liver is closely related to female reproduction, and liver is the pivot of reproduction. According to traditional Chinese medicine, liver dysfunction is the core of ovulatory disorder infertility. Liver dysfunction can lead to disorder of qi activity, affect the growth of menstrual cycle, and destroy the coordination and balance of each link of female reproductive axis, resulting in ovulation disorder and infertility. The treatment should be based on dispersing stagnated liver qi for relieving qi stagnation, regulating qi movement, regulating spleen and resolving phlegm, and paying attention to tonifying kidney for consolidating semen. It is supported by a proven case.
