Abstract:Objective To observe the application effect of Dexmedetomidine combined with Ropivacaine unilateral paravertebral block in thoracic surgery. Methods A total of 94 patients in Fushun Central Hospital from February 2015 to April 2017 were divided into control group (n=47) and observation group (n=47) according to the random number table method. The patients in the control group were treated with Ropivacaine, and the patients in the observation group were treated with Dexmedetomidine combined with Ropivacaine. The differences of analgesic effect, paravertebral block, awakening and adverse reaction were observed between the two groups. Results The onset time of sensory block, the fixed time of block, the range of spinal nerve block, the duration of operation, the time of tracheal catheter extraction and the time to leave recovery room were compared between the two groups, and the differences were not statistically significant (P > 0.05). The postoperative VAS score in the observation group was lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). There were no statistically significant differences in the Ramsay scores and the adverse effects between two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion Compared with Ropivacaine alone, Dexmedetomidine combined with Ropivacaine unilateral paravertebral block has better analgesic effect in thoracic surgery, which reduce postoperative pain intensity, and it is safety, reliability, in favor of postoperative recovery and worthy of clinical promotion.
